Buntingford Cricket Club

Buntingford Cricket Club (sponsored by Buntingford & District Social Club) was founded in 1980 with one friendly side.  It now fields 3 teams - the 1st and 2nd XI play competitively in the Cambs & Hunts Cricket League, after eight successful years in the Herts & Essex League.  It also has a friendly team that plays on Sundays.   The pavilion, situated at the Norfolk Road playing fields in the town, has home and away changing rooms with showers, and, perhaps more importantly, a bar! 

On Thursday evenings, from mid-May to mid-July, it runs a Colts night.  A fully qualified cricket coach is on hand.   For the 2011 season, we have an Under 13 team entered in the Cambridge Youth Cricket League.  Please contact Martin Coote, our Colts Co-ordinator, on 07803 169989 if your son or daughter is interested in joining us.
